What it costs
One fee. You pay it when you take a price that is already there, and nothing when you set your own price and wait for someone to take it.
The fee
For every KSh 100 you put in:
| The chance | The fee |
|---|---|
| 10% | KSh 3.47 |
| 25% | KSh 2.91 |
| 50% | KSh 1.96 |
| 75% | KSh 0.99 |
| 90% | KSh 0.40 |
It is biggest when you back something unlikely and smallest when you back something nearly certain. It is never more than KSh 4 on every KSh 100.
Who gets it
20.0% of every fee goes to the person on the other side of your trade. 0.25% goes to whoever created the event. The rest is ours.
Where the fee comes out
What you type is what leaves your wallet. The fee is already taken off the figure the ticket shows you for what you get back, so nothing is added afterwards.
The gap between buying and selling
The price to buy is always a little above the price to sell, so buying and selling straight away loses you that gap. It is usually bigger than the fee. People trading set it, not us, it changes every second, and you can see both prices in the order book on any event page before you trade.
How events settle is on how events are decided. How often our prices have been right is on accuracy.
